Project “Improving safety and efficiency of cogeneration / trigeneration plants” worth 3.96 million HRK has been approved for EU funding by Croatian Ministry of Science.  Contract between Faculty of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and naval architecture (FESB) and Ministry of Science was signed on 20/10/14, by which 74,78% of total project cost is to be financed from European Fund for Regional Development, national program “Building Capacities for Research and Development”.

Duration of project is 16 months and it is to be run by Project leader prof. dr. sc. Božo Terzić. The project is collaboration between Faculty of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and naval architecture (FESB) and private company Banko d.o.o. and its goal is to develop safer and more efficient method of harvesting energy from waste heat combining high revolution generator and dynamic control system.
